This Challenger 180 is a great boat. The layout is amazing for a 17 foot boat; it comfortably seats 7 with space for gear too. Great boat for swimming and watersports; the swim platform is great and no worries about a stern drive. No stern drive means its great for shallow areas, plus no propeller safety concerns and no stern drive maintenance! The engine is pretty maintenance free as well; winterize and oil change every year and that is it.
This boat is a ball to drive as well. This boat has very little to no bow rise when going to plane and has very fast acceleration. It handles like a sports car and once you get more skilled and used to driving a jet boat you can make it maneuver like a 17 foot PWC! This boat is loads of fun to drive! Top speed around 43 mph.
